Julian Assange, aboard a chartered flight, made a stop in Bangkok en route to Saipan to enter a plea deal with the U.S. government. He is expected to plead guilty to an Espionage Act charge related to classified document publication. Following sentencing, Assange plans to return to Australia. The hearing is in Saipan due to Assange's objections to travel to the continental U.S.
