Shubman Gill-led new-look Team India lands in Harare for T20Is against Zimbabwe
Young cricketers Riyan Parag, Tushar Deshpande and Abhishek Sharma say they are waiting for the “special moment” to represent India.
A young Indian cricket team led by Shubman Gill arrived in Zimbabwe for a five-match T20 series starting July 6. Coach VVS Laxman accompanies the squad, including debutant Riyan Parag, who expressed excitement. Other newcomers Tushar Deshpande and Abhishek Sharma shared their joy of joining the national team. Due to Hurricane Beryl, some players are stranded in Barbados, with replacements named for the first two matches. The series ends on July 14.
