Money laundering case against Senthilbalaji | Madras High Court grants four more months for completion of trial
The Chennai Principal Sessions Judge had written to the High Court seeking four months time, after expressing an inability to complete the trial in the time period stipulated by the Court earlier this year
The Madras High Court granted an additional four months for the Principal Sessions Court in Chennai to complete the money laundering trial against former Minister V. Senthilbalaji. The extension was given because multiple petitions filed by the accused delayed the proceedings. The trial was initially ordered to be completed within three months by the High Court in February.
