Kerala Transport Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar criticized the proposed ₹17.85 crore skywalk project in Kottayam as wasteful and impractical. He noted future town expansion, land acquisition issues, and unclear maintenance responsibilities as major problems. The project, started by former Transport Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, lacks foresight. Kumar is willing to hand over the project file to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
