Bharat 6G Project

Recently, the Prime Minister unveiled a Vision Document aimed at rolling out high-speed 6G communication services by 2030 and launched the Bharat 6G Project to identify and fund research and deployment of next-generation technology in India. Additionally, the government introduced the 'Call Before You Dig (CBuD)’ app to enhance coordination between excavation agencies and underground utility owners, aiming to prevent damage to utilities during digging operations. This initiative supports safer infrastructure development while facilitating the growth of advanced communication technologies in the country.
